Behind The Lens

Location

Smallwood Store (Smallwood Indian Outpost), Mamie Street, Chokoloskee, FL, USA

Time

We rode on my motorcycle from Fort Lauderdale to the Smallwood Indian Outpost on September 5, 2016. I took the photo at around 12:30pm.

Lighting

Noon is not the best time for light and shadows, but you have to work with what you have at the time.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D7100 with a 18.0-105.0 mm f/3.5-5.6.

Inspiration

I just found interesting the combination of the cannoe against the stills supporting the Store, it makes you think back about the days when the Indians visit the store.

Editing

Just made it back and white.

In my camera bag

Usually I just carry the camera, no bag.

Feedback

A later time in the day would had provided a better light.
