Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photograph at Fort Zachary Taylor state Park in Key West Florida

Time

Lateafternoon

Lighting

Natural window light

Equipment

I used an old Nikon N 50 film camera T max black and white film, hand held

Inspiration

My bride inspired me, she was very young and looked like "Juliet" she had a very renaissance look to her. I had a student assistant with me and asked her to lift the veil and run away, there was no breeze so I had to create one! it took several takes to get it just right

Editing

No

In my camera bag

For weddings I carry three of everything! I have three camera bodies and an assortment of lenses, including a macro and a fisheye. My primary camera is my Nikon D610 , primary lens is Nikon 24-120 1:4 two SB 800's and one SB 700,I always keep extra camera cells charged and plenty of batteries and S.D cards. A reflector and two tri pods. And of course my Lowepro camera bag on wheels.

Feedback

Be creative! I do miss film photography. I would say get a film camera and some black and white film. In order to really learn about light,go out there and shoot! If you are serious about photography I would strongly suggest to learn on a 35mm camera.
