Afternoon.

Lighting

No. If I find a place or object interesting, I'll go there at different times of the day and get shots, just to see if it makes them look better. While we can darken images or lighten them, sometimes it's just better to work with the light provided by nature.

Equipment

Sony camera.

Inspiration

I liked the looks of the tree, and had been told that it had been used a long time ago to hang people.

Editing

Just turned the image to black and white as it made it look cooler to me.

In my camera bag

Just camera and a couple of different lens if needed. I found it's faster to get to hard to reach places by riding my electric bike, so keep anything I carry down to a manageable weight.

Feedback

Just take pics of anything that catches your eye or imagination. It's worth it to take a hundred shots just to get a few that are great.
