I dodge the onslaught from above as winter-like winds whizz through the landscape, the seagulls, it seems, are playing target practise and I have become an object of their desire.
I snapped this shot above Cuckmere Haven In England’s beautiful county of East Sussex, an area which has been under intense scrutiny because of the sea’s unstoppable fury. Recent history has recorded a 30 metre retreat of this iconic coastline.
For some, the words climate change buzz around like an annoying, angry wasp but most are now alive to the fact that they represent the most serious issue our species has ever faced.
On my travels Ive witnessed how our habits are harming our future; severe weather patterns surge and Intermingle with a remarkable increase in the frequency of earthquakes and the rapid melting of our polar regions are causing sea levels to rise at an astronomical rate.
Today we cross continents In hours and communicate with faraway friends with a click of a button. We live a lifestyle that our ancestors would envy but the costs of our fortune it seems, have been catastrophic.
We must now investigate alternatives and move towards a more sustainable way of living otherwise we could perhaps face, a very perilous future...
