Ever wonder why do we see colours with our eyes closed? The answer is not because of the colourful scarf from the image that covers my eyes, it is actually real light and it's coming from inside our eyes. The strange blobs you see are called phosphenes and just like the fireflies or deep-sea creatures can glow, the cells within our eyes emit biologically produced light particles or biophotones.
It's all about the light when composing with colours inside our eyes.

Location
I took this photo in my kitchen.Time
It was a Sunday afternoon and I was home alone. I did not have any plans for that day, I was bored and the weather outside was horrible. I believe it was in the winter 2 years ago and winters in Victoria Australia are sometimes not all that great. Monotone gray sky, rain and cold.Lighting
As I did not have any professional lighting I only used natural light. I positioned myself in from of the big sliding glass door on a chair in front of a black backdrop. I had enough light for 3 hours after that I struggled to get anything sharp.Equipment
Nikon D90 with 50mm lens, tripod and remote control of course.Inspiration
I was trying to create something different. I experimented with different hair accessories, makeup, head positions and somehow I decided to cover everything and let the scarf be the main subject and cover my eyes.Editing
I only boosted the contrast for the colors and added the vignette as my skills in Photoshop and Lightroom were minimal. Again I was experimenting with Lightroom as well.In my camera bag
I try to keep my camera bag as light as possible. Failed. First of all, I have my Nikon D750, my most used lens Nikon 28-300mm, then the Nikon 50mm, and the Tamaron 15-30mm. Other accessories as polarized filters, spare batteries, 2x32 GB SD cards, microfiber cloths (really recommend having one). Lip balm and water :)Feedback
My only advise is to be creative and let your mind free, experiment with common things around you and most of all try to enjoy it.
