Location
This photo was taken when on a trip with my 14 year old grandson. I had taken him on an Alaskan cruise and the one excursion I was not sure he would like was Butchart Gardens in Victoria British Columbia. As I had let him choose the other excursions, I crossed my fingers he would love these gardens as much as I would. To my amazement he was captivated with the beauty and took so many of his own pictures we had to buy another card for his camera. The gardens are truly a work of art.Time
I believe it was mid day.Lighting
I was extremely lucky with the lighting being natural. The day was perfect and I went with what I was given by nature.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon Powershot SD550. This has been a perfect camera for me when I have a very limited space and do not want to worry about carrying a lot of weight.Inspiration
The beauty of these gardens inspires you to want to catch each bend around the corner. As you walk, everything changes and is different.Editing
I did not have to do any post processing. The only thing I did was sharpen the colors a bit. I really did luck out with letting mother nature take over and inspire me.In my camera bag
My favorite camera is still my Canon Power Shot G10. This is the most versatile camera I have used so it is my to go to camera. I also carry around my Canon EOS Rebel T5.Feedback
If you are fortunate like I was to spend the day at the gardens and have it turn out so sunny and beautiful, nature will take over and you can capture these gardens. If you are a garden lover like I am, it should definitely be a place to visit. It is worth it.
