Behind The Lens

Location

This sunrise was captured at Mesa Arch in Canyonlands Park, UT.

Time

This was my "go to" image for my trip. You have to get up early and be on-site to get a spot as it can get crowded in just the right spot. This was the second day we came out to take this picture. The first attempt failed due to weather. I captured several images from different angles but this was one of my favs.

Lighting

F22 or above. I shot multiple images are different settings to do some overlays but weren't needed in the end.

Equipment

Canon 5D mk III, Canon 16-35 lens, Mefoto Tripod.

Inspiration

I wanted a "post card" image.

Editing

I did some camera RAW processing but that's about it. I likely did some cropping.

Canon 5D mk III, Canon 70D, EOS M2 Canon lenses: 16-35, 50 1.4, 24-70 F4, 70-200 F2 USM II Tamron lens: 150-600mm
