I absolutely love what you have done with this photograph! I would love for you to share how you get the pastel look...

Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at a local park, on a small patch of tall grass. It’s a great example of how vision and point of view can make a less than ideal location look more impressive. Behind her is a baseball field and parking lot, that disappear at the right angle.Time
This was taken right around golden hour, or the last hour of daylight in the middle of the summer, so around 8pm.Lighting
The image was taken at golden hour, with the sunset behind her, so it was important to bounce the light back onto her face.Equipment
Nikon 3D and a 70-200mm lens and only a screen to bounce light.Inspiration
It felt like a fairytale... the lighting, the tutu, the field. It wasn’t the intended image I went for, but everything just lined up.Editing
For this image, I only did very minor adjustments- a little bit of touching up on her skin, and lowered the shadows slightly. In my camera bag
I always carry my camera body, of course, as well as a 24-70mm, 70-200mm and sometimes, an ofc and diffuser. Occasionally I switch it up to my primes (35mm, 50mm, and my favorite- 85mm)Feedback
Don’t try too hard. Some of my favorite images are ones that I didn’t stress over, they just came along naturally. Let the magic happen!
