It is very calm at this time of the year on lake Zug in the center of Switzerland. There was this perfect peace and harmony between the person on the pier and the awesome panorama of the mountains touching the lake.

Location
This photo was taken at Lake Zug in SwitzerlandTime
I was on a walk in the late afternoon and did several shots. What i liked was the absolute calm in combination with the water and mountains. The person sitting on the pier was probably feeling the same mood.Lighting
The light was just fantastic with some clouds and the reflections of the town.Equipment
I did the shot with my Sony A7r and the SEL1018 wide angle lens in 3 handheld exposures.Inspiration
Usually I am very attracted to places with water and mountains. If there is some drama in the sky, that's when I love to take my shots.Editing
The 3 exposures were edited it in LR and Aurora HDR to get the result. In my camera bag
As for my equipment I like to carry a very small bag with one or two lenses. Sticking with one sense the entire shot is a great experience because you can focus entirely on the moment.Feedback
If you want to capture a nice landscape photo, you don't have to go very far. Look around for nice places near you and go there often to catch the perfect moment. Once back home, try to translate the mood you were in with your post processing. I think it is for a great deal to express a unique emotion to the person looking at the final result.
