Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the south end of Burgess Beach, Forster NSW Australia.

Time

This photo was taken after dusk

Lighting

The lighting in this photo was dark, therefore allowing me to slow the shutter down enough to create the effect that seen in the photo

Equipment

Canon 7d Tokina 10-17mm fisheye Aquatech CO-7 surf housing and a port to hold the lens.

Inspiration

Nature and the beauty it holds inspires myself enough. I love taking photos on sunrise and sunset as i believe to allows for the most creativity and mood in a photo

Editing

Not really, I shoot raw so it was just a matter of putting colour back into the shot. There are other photos that require post processing but for alot of my ocean art it's straight from the camera

Shoot when no one else is, shoot in the modest conditions, whether it's in strong winds, dark clouds, storms, rain etc, I think it helps you develop ideas and skills alot quicker. Think outside the box
