Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Hokkaido Japan.

Time

Early afternoon. It was cloudy day.

Lighting

In the snowy environment, they can nicely reflect light from bottom to top. I had to be careful not to over exposure.

Equipment

I used D7000, Sigma lens 70- 300mm f/4.5-5.6 this time.

Inspiration

This is my daughter. She looked so happy sledging. We live in tropical country, snow is very special for her.

Editing

I use Raw camera filter to fix exposure and Nic Collection as photoshop plug-in.

In my camera bag

I usually have Nikon D7000 and nikon lens 24-70mmm f/2.8. This is heavy but my favorite.

Feedback

Sledging kids is always having fun and good smile. and usually they do many times. You have many chance to capture the perfect moment. I use my thumb to press AE-L AF-L for focus instead of half press focus. This focus system fit better to capture fast moving object.
