Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches downtown near Main Street. Shelby was a senior at the time and a lot of fun to work with. I have known her for most of her life. Shelby was a pleasure to shoot!

Time

We took this around 6:30.

Lighting

I used my Canon Speedlite on camera.

Equipment

I shoot with a Canon 6d a usually a Canon Speedlite it not natural light.

Inspiration

Shelby just looked so beautiful in this pose. She looks happy and like a kid about to take on the world. The colors in the background and in her outfit just popped for me!

Editing

I used Camera Raw in Adobe Photoshop.

I normally carry a Canon 85mm, a Canon nifty 50 and a canon 70-200 f2.8 is ii

Feedback

Don't be afraid to get on the ground and get dirty. I think I was lying in someone's spilled drink on the road that day, but it was the perfect spot at the perfect time.
