I love this angle. And of course, I love horses, which is what caught my eye. I might like to see a more defined focusing point, or all in sharper focus, and the sky could use a little more blue. Of course that can be achieved with filters on your lens. Overall, I just like the angle. Thank you for sharing.

Location
This photo was taken at a local shopping center. The sculpture is made from old bumpers and is done by Sean Guerrero,Time
This was taken at about 7:40 a.m. as the sun was coming up on a September morning. The rising sun can be seen reflecting in the horse's cheek.Lighting
The lighting was all natural as the rising sun gave the warm glow to it as it reflects off the chrome and really adds to the horse and overall look of the full sculpture which includes a "rusty" cowboy.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L USM lens. There was no flash, tripod, or other equipment used.Inspiration
This sculpture has had my attention since it came to the area. It's unique yet captures an American Spirit and creativity that inspired me to tray and capture the spirit. The entire piece is beautiful and I just had to take the camera out to get it in the morning sunrise. Thankfully it was a quiet early morning so I had time to work out angles to make the most of the chance I had as I knew photos were going to get harder and harder to get of it as they continue to build up around it.Editing
For this one I did very minor adjustments for exposure and clarity when converting it from RAW format. Just a touch to bring out more of the detail and color. In my camera bag
My main camera is the Canon 5d MarkII. I absolutely love this camera and the kit lens that came with it (the 24-105 f/4L) is always with it. A 2nd or 3rd lens will generally depend on what I'm wanting to photograph (many times the 180 macro or 70-200 will be included). A speedlite is generally available though not used for the majority of my photos. To be honest, as long as I have the 5D and the 24-105 then I'm good to go for randomness! I've also added a 2nd bag for the day to day commuting/life-time-not-photo-time times and it always has a Canon Rebel t5i, with a Canon 70-300 and the 18-55 lenses. It's proven to be a great runaround kit when it's not practical to have the 5D. I'm almost never caught without a camera now!Feedback
My advice to others is to not be afraid to try/experiment with your equipment! Don't be afraid of failure or let it hold you back. Sometimes that shot you think isn't worth it or shouldn't work will be a great shot. Sure, you'll sort through a ton that didn't work but then you'll get that one and it'll make it all worth it. If you stop trying to learn and expand your abilities then you'll be stuck.
