Behind The Lens

Location

Our first time to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This is the walkway to the ocean from the hotel. It perfectly beckons to come and enjoy paradise.

Time

We landed in the early afternoon, checked into our resort and decided to check out the beach before dinner.

Lighting

This was taken in the afternoon and the only filter was the shade from the trees.

Equipment

This shot was taken with a Samsung Galaxy 5.

Inspiration

It was a magical moment. The ocean beckoning, the shade of the trees, the smooth wood underfoot. I wanted a picture to remind me of that moment.

Editing

No post-processing was done.

In my camera bag

I have no bag except my purse. I love taking photos but for now my phone has to suffice as my equipment.

Feedback

I'm a total amateur with a smart phone. The only advice I feel qualified to offer is to take lots and lots of pictures - something is bound to turn out. Keep your eyes open for opportunities.
