Location
This photo was taken in the ghost town of Cracow, near Matera, in the Basilicata region in southern Italy. The city fell in 1963 due to a landslide. A unique place in the world.Time
I have had the chance to take this picture because a few years ago the mayor of Craco (the new city, which lies a few kilometers away), asked me to take some pictures to see the evolution of the landslide. Even today, even now as you read, a few bricks is detached from the houses of Craco.Lighting
It was early in the morning, I think around 6 in March, the newly risen sun was obscured by some clouds, leaving only the city in the twilight, and I shot, I could not resist!Equipment
That day my full frame Nikon D700 was in service for a sensor cleaning, so I had to shoot with my little Nikon D5000 with 18-105 lens. For the work that I was commissioned the tripod is not needed so I left him in the car and take all the photos of the day freehand.Inspiration
The magic place and the silence.Editing

//Feedback
There are no real advice to take pictures similar to mine, but if there's one thing I can say is to try to know perfectly the behavior of light and how your camera interprets it. Remember, the best camera in the world is the one you have with you!
