Location
I took this photo at the tivoli Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is my father and my son in the picture.Time
It was late in the evning, about 21.00 I woiuld guess. In Sweden the sun is up almoste 24/7 in the summer and the cameras love it!Lighting
I had absolutly no control over the lighing here. There was lights and lamps everywhere changing colors and brightness non stop. I had no plans to take a picture at all. But suddenly, just for one second, my father stod in a good spot looking at something and smiled, holding the boy. And then I captured them.Equipment
I belive I had my Canon Eos 600D and my every-day-lens (the ordinary 18-55mm). I never use the camera flash and rarely extern flash. I prefer to experiment and play with natural light and the light that happens to be there.Inspiration
It was just a moment. Less than a second. I was not prepared at all. But all of a sudden they where looking at something and everything was just right.Editing
I toned down the redness of the skin for more color harmony. In my camera bag
In my bag I have my Canon Eos 600D or my Nikon D5300. If I dont have specific plans on what to shoot I normally bring my 18-55mm lens. It is good enough for most things.Feedback
Often it is not the big events that will lead to the best pictures. Often magic happens in the smallest and brief moments, like in a smile from someone passing you by. You need 50% for being obeservant on the small things in the surroundings. And you need 50% luck!
