This photo was taken on the road that my parents live on here in a little town called Kingstree, SC.Time
It was right before sunset, so about 4:30pm. I LOVE a good golden hour session and I hardly ever shoot any other times of the day!Lighting
This road is covered by trees all the way down, so the lighting is very dark here. In the normal photo before post processing you can actually see the sunset peaking through the trees.Equipment
This shot I used a Canon 70D & a Canon 55-250mm lens.Inspiration
This was actually a shoot for my sons Christmas photos, He decided he did not want to take pictures that day and would not look at me or the camera. Although he did keep staring up at his big cousin, whom he was actually looking at in this photo before post processing. I told her to keep his attention so he would continue to look up as I snapped some shots because I could figure out what to do with it later, he just looked so cute staring at her that way!Editing
Yes, in this photo there was a girl standing where the elephant is that my son was looking at (his big cousin) at first I thought about putting some type of flying bird in the photo but then I realized I wanted something bigger, something magical and unbelievable! PS. You wouldn't believe how many people actually thought I let my son get this close to such a big animal! ;)In my camera bag
I normally have my Canon 70D, a Canon 50mm lens, & Canon 55-250mm.Feedback
My advice for anyone looking to creative photos such as this, be creative. Use your creative talent and come up with something amazing! Just because a photo doesn't look worthy, doesn't mean it isn't!
