Location
I took the photo in near Beelitz-Heiltätten where these old Hospital Ruins are. Which also is about an hour away from the capital of Germany, Berlin. For all your Photographers out there: its worth a visit!Time
This Photo was taken Saturday 4 October 2014 at 08:36. Since my dad lives near that forest it wasn't much trouble to find a good spot, it just took me half an hour by walk from my dads house till I had the 'perfect' shotLighting
Cant think of anything important right now.Equipment
Canon EOS 60D, EF-S18-135mm and polarising Filter. No other equipment was at handInspiration
I always wanted to take a picture with forest/light/shadow/fog and the morning before I saw a good motive and had perfect weather conditions so I planned to get up early, take my camera the next morning and make a 'dream come true' :)Editing
I did not do much processing, Just added a bit more shadow, light and colour. In my camera bag
If I plan to go out I ALWAYS have my Canon EOS 60D and Lens EF-S18-135mm, A small canon remote control, the Manual (just in case), spare Battery, and some Filters. Additionally if its at night or if I didn't forget it I take my tripod and an external flash.Feedback
Find the right spot, and the right time of the year, It is always helpful to know the area a little but defiantly more exciting if you dont. And don't leave your tripod at home how I did it, then the Photo will be more crisp. Although I kind of like the way it is a bit shaking, it seams more mystic that way.
