The photo was shot at Benton, Kansas at Stearman Field at their annaul fly in.Time
It was around 11 amLighting
I wasn't expecting a World War Two fighter at the event, but we looked up and this F4F did a low flyby and then landed. I took the photo shortly after he parked on the rampEquipment
Just a camera and a good eye, no fancy equipment.Inspiration
I'm an aviation buff that's why I was at the fly-in. And a chance to get up close to a flying example of a World War 2 fight, and walk around it and speak to the pilot was a great opportunity. The plane was there, we had good weather and light so I took a series of photos.Editing
Very little. Just some very minor color and contrast adjustments. In my camera bag
The basics, camera, tripod, a reflector, spare batteriesFeedback
Just the fundamentals, shoot with your back to the sun, compose your shot well, get in focus and take several photos at the same angle so you have back ups. If you have good lighting don't over do your color corrections
