Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at an office building. The fluorescent lights were on.

Time

I have some downtime at work between 1am.-3:30am, and that is when I took this photo

Lighting

I just used a fast shutter speed with lots of light thrown at my subject under fluorescent lighting.

Equipment

At this time, I only had a pop up flash on my D5100.

Inspiration

I love the character that this doll emits.

Editing

I converted the photo to black and white, and then added some contrast and deepened the blacks.

In my camera bag

D5100, 18-55mm (kit lens), 40mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, generic off camera flash from walmart, and a lot of extra stuff like filters, cables, and cleaning items.
