Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in Sherman Texas.

Time

Photo was taken in the mid-afternoon, not the idea time but I was lucky to have a little cloud coverage.

Lighting

The angle was awkward and there were some tress in the shot; so I had to shoot low.

Equipment

I use a Nikon. Always.

Inspiration

There’s nothing better than an old rusty sign. I would have liked to have more negative space, but it wasn’t feasible.

Editing

Black and white, levels, burning and dodging.

In my camera bag

Lens, batteries and SD cards

Feedback

Cloud coverage and time of day dictate where the shadows will be cast. Needed less shadows to capture the words on the sign.
