I see this bridge daily on my train commute into NYC and love its architectural design and always wanted to capture a photo of it at its best, occassioanlly pop back to try and get better shots of it at different angles and timesEditing
This was a 5 SHOT HDR image, merged in Photomatix, and then tweaked in Photoshop and lightroom, primarily contrast and sharpeningIn my camera bag

I find perseverance is key when trying to get sunrise shots such as this, each day the tones, colors and levels of the sunrise can change dramatically and it may take many visits to get the colors that you hope for in a shot Also I think its important to move around to various viewpoints to find the framing that you want in the shot, I have taken shots of this bridge from various viewpoints all around it over time, this viewpoint with the pier leading into the bridge is one of my favorite views of it
