Location
I took this photo while on a trip to the Azores Islands. the beaches were so amazing, the contrast between the blue waves and volcanic rock made this photo so great.Time
This was the second night we were at The Azores, we were on our way to a coffee shop that is located on the beach and the landscapes are so amazing there I didn't dare leave the hotel without my camera.Lighting
The sun was starting to set on the horizon which gave this photo a nice glow.Equipment
This was shot with my first ever camera, a Canon Rebel T6.Inspiration
honestly i was just taken back by the contrast between the black volcanic rocks and the piercing blue waters.Editing
This actually has very little editing I played with the sharpness and details, dropped the exposure, and brought some of the colors out just enough that they really pop.In my camera bag
I am a glutton for punishment. whenever I travel I bring all of my gear with me. That includes a tripod, a drone, drone controller, my full frame mirrorless camera, 3 lenses, some lens filters for both the drone and my camera, and a sling bag for whatever I am using at the time. I'm not sure what it equates to weight wise but I know my back does not apricate it at the end of the day.Feedback
Be patient. Take as many photos as you can. You're bound to get something you or someone else likes.
