Vicentiu Gaspar, 47 years old, born in Romania, residing in the municipality of Lourinhã for 20 years, trains and represents with great pride the Clube de Judo da Lourinhã, already several times district champion. In Romania, he was several times a medalist at the National Championships, he was part of the 1991-1992 Romanian National Olympic Team in the 60kg category, having medaled in the various international competitions in Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovenia and Moldova.
