Location
This picture was taken in Wisconsin at a wildlife reserve.Time
I remember that it was late in the afternoon when this cougar crouched behind a rock preparing to pounce.Lighting
It was dusk but the cougar was still lit up enough for a great shot.Equipment
This was a hand held shot with my Nikon D5000 using a Nikor 300mm lens with autofocus and vibration reduction.Inspiration
I love nature and wildlife. There is nothing better than spending a day photographing wildlife and landscapes.Editing
I will use Lightroom sometimes if my lighting is off.In my camera bag
I carry my Nikon D5000 and a variety of lenses and filters. I have a lens for portrait photography with a super fast f-stop. I carry a 300mm adjustable lens, a 35mm lens, an 8O0mm lens, and a fisheye lens. I have a detachable 65watt Flash. I also carry many batteries and a portable charger. I also carry an Olympus Targas underwater camera.Feedback
