The Fish Lake Valley Mud Bog is the best thing to see in Esmeralda County on the 4th of July. The event has old trucks, buggys, and any other kind off road attempting to make it to the other end of the mud pit. After all of the vehicles are done the mud pit its time to send the kids and then any adults into the mud. There is a cash price for whoever makes it to the other side first. For a small town in the middle of the Nevada desert, it sure is a whole lot of fun. Its not the only event though. There is a parade in the morning, a pancake breakfast, mud bog, a rodeo, a bbq, and the day finishes off with a great firework show. If you like awesome events with the small town atmosphere... Dryer, NV is where you need to be on the 4th of July.
