I took this picture close to my home in Mokrá Hora (suburb of Brno city). I remember it was last day of December 2006. I walked out of my home and felt that on this foggy day there were going to be chances for mysterious pictures of trees. I took several shots and this one I think is the best of them.

Location
I took the photo near my home, in Mokrá Hora (northern part of Brno city, located in southern Moravia, which is eastern part of Czech Republic).Time
I took the picture later in the afternoon when there was less light, partly because of mist, partly because the twilight was approaching. It was taken on the last day of December 2006.Lighting
Fog or mist have special athmosphere for taking pictures, it inspires me a lot. Especially trees in wood are like in a fairy tale with mystery hard to describe.Equipment
Nikon F 65, Nikkor lens, tripodInspiration
I was inspired by the athmosphere of the day, fully overwhelmed by mist all day long. Winter is melancholic and mysterious at the same time when such weather arrives. I love trees and forest, I like to be there a lot even without taking photos. Walk through a wood is refreshing experience.Editing
A little bit of contrast. In my camera bag
Nikon Z 50 (since 2019), Nikon F 65 (former camera which I no longer use), Nikkor 50-250.Feedback
Be patient. Keep watching carefully and with your heart open. Keep on trying to take picture even though you think you have already captured the best one of the day. The best shots usually wait at the end of the line of your effort.
