I came across this tiny mouse while I was watering the roses. I aimed the hose at a rose bush and I seen this tiny brown blur race to the next rose bush. I wondered what in the world did I see. I didnt know, so again, I aimed the hose at the bush and gave it a squirt. Just as before, the tiny blur ran to the next rose bush. After seeing that, I gotta investigate. I put the hose down, walked over to the bush and looked down inside. I see this tiny field mouse. I can see its scared and breathing like crazy. I immediately feel bad for scaring this tiny creature. I apologized, said hold on and I ran back into the house to get my camera. With camera in hand, I slowly approached the rose bush and luckily the mouse was still there. The mouse wasn't breathing crazy and I was happy that I hadn't soaked it. I clicked off a few exposures. For posing for me... I gave the tiny mouse an offering of few of goldfish crackers and went back inside. That evening I when to check to see if the mouse was still there. The field mouse was gone and so were the goldfish crackers.
