On a recent trip to Grand Teton National Park, I took my 9 year old son and my old Canon 60 D. He had a great time learning to adjust the manual settings and learning how to make the best photos while in the field. At this point, we were sitting below Jackson Lake Dam photographing white pelicans and mergansers while waiting for the evening light to come around.
