Even with all the equipment weight that's necessary to scuba dive, a bounancy compensator gives a feeling of weightlessness in a sea of saltwater. When observing a evaluating the underwater photographs posted consider the need for neutral buoyancy, siltation within the always changing ocean, and currents that are most annoying....Not only is the subject moving but so is the photographer and that's what makes fun and challenging.

Thank you, Ed! It feels like peers that review these underwater photos neglect to recognize, 1) I’m underwater, 2) there’s a potential that I’m moving as well as my subject by uncontrollable and variable currents, silts can whip up off the bottom at a moment’s notice - that’s why I like underwater photography, for the challenge… and to share our experiences.
