Encounter of the Intelligent Kind

Sitting, perhaps actually sleeping on a rubble pile during the black of night, was an amazing and eventually lively Common Octopus. Obviously, not afraid of us and my dive light didn't imped the progress, the intelligent creature was quite entertaining with constant color, texture, and size changing abilities as it move across the rubbly sea floor. Viewed by many as one of the more intelligent (non-human) creatures on earth (more than some of the people I've met - lol!). An encounter like this is alway exhilarating
