This girl was scheduled to be euthanized, because she had been running the streets for so long, and they thought her 'vicious'. She was emaciated, covered in ticks, and wounds. I begged them to give me a chance with her. 6 months later I returned to the shelter, so they could see what a wonderful friend she was, and there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
