Location
Parc National du Fjord-du-Saguenay or Saguenay Fjord National Park in Canada. We didn't know anything about Fjords before visiting. A fjord is where fresh water and seawater meet in waterways and this one is said to be 890 feet deep.Time
This shot was taken after 2 p.m. on an overcast day in early July.Lighting
I don't think I would be as successful (as if I was), if I shot more posed photos. This shot was taken in slightly overcast sun.Equipment
NIKON CORPORATION NIKON D3200 at ƒ/10, 1/320, 98mm, ISO400 didn't use anything else.Inspiration
It was just after 4th of July in Canada. Not really a holiday, but as we were enjoying the scenery, my wife saw a whale. I wasn't ready for the shot and missed it. Fun! Really!Editing
Nope! Almost all of my shots are as is.In my camera bag
A couple of lenses, Extra storage cards and batteries. I travel light as possible, afraid to damage my equipment.Feedback
Try your best to be patient. Move to as many vantage points as possible, but wait for the shot. If you assume the shot will just happen, you may rush the moment. There will be days when you don't get a thing . . . .
