Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in an alley way in downtown Newmarket, (Ont, Canada). The building itself was built around 1920's and has been renovated several times. It's currently a restaurant.

Time

It was taken sometime mid afternoon after having lunch with some friends and walking in the park..

Lighting

The lighting was simply natural lighting. There was not a single cloud in the sky!

Equipment

At the time I only had my iPhone with me, but I couldn't past a chance to take a photo of the paint lifting / peeling off the bricks to reveal and expose the brick natural colors.

Inspiration

It was just a random chance of finding this shot and being a "Pink Floyd" fan, I couldn't resist.

Editing

There wasn't much editing that I had to do beside cropping & enhancing the photo using the Mac O/S Pixelmator Pro software as the editing tools.

In my camera bag

I am an amateur photography at best. So my camera is the CanonEOS Rebel XS with either the regular 18-55 mm lens with image stabilizer or the 75-300mm lens for telephoto shots.

Feedback

My advise is to take the shot even if you only have your smart phone with you.
