The sun was lower in the sky and caught a beautiful sparkle in the subjects eyesEquipment
This was taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III using a 50mm. No tripod or flash was used to create the imageInspiration
His beautiful eyes inspired me in this picture. I knew his eyes would be amazing in black and white because they are light. I wanted simplistic so the focus is on his eyes. I lean towards black and white images and always think about how an image would best captivate the viewerEditing
I used Lightroom and turned the image to black and white and increased exposure particularly with his eyesIn my camera bag
My Canon EOS 5D III, 50mm and 85mm. I always have my bunny shutter hugger to catch the attention of children and create a way to get authentic smiles during a session. I have a notepad and pen to write down anything from the session that I can improve on or something I learned to help my next session. And lastly, I carry my business cards, you never know when you will need one!Feedback
