In the far Northeastern corner of California is a small town called Fort Bidwell. With a population of under 200, this tight knit community lives and works for each other. Everyone waves as they pass by on the single road in and out of town. Everyone you meet is like you’ve been long time friends catching up after many years apart. This Thistle plant caught my eye as some locals were hiking me up to their secret hot spring spot with extra room for their dogg-o to roam freely while we unwind and relaxed as the sun set.
