My favorite waterfall is Skógafoss, which is a 60 m high and 25 m wide waterfall in Skógá at Skóga in Rangárþing in eastern Iceland. The waterfall was protected in 1987 and is considered a nature reserve. Rumors say that in a cave behind the waterfall, the settler Thrasi Þórólfsson threw his gold chest.
