Behind The Lens
Location
I took this Photo at the Upper Barracca in Valletta, in MaltaTime
It was in the evening of August 2022. It was already dusk.Lighting
The cruise ship caught my eye and I wanted to take some photos at night time for the first time ever. I am glad I did as it is one of the photos I like most.Equipment
I only used a tripod, no flash was used. My camera is Canon EOS 850D or T8i. The Lens was 135mm.Inspiration
I wanted to try and learn how to take photos at night, and since the grand harbour of Malta is a wonderful place to take any photos from the bastions, I decided to begin from there.Editing
I did not do any post processing as I still have not learnt how to do it. I do have the intention to learn how to do it but I never had the chance. In my camera bag
In my bag I only carry extra batteries and one or two lenses.Feedback
You always have to be patient while taking photos at night, as the camera will take some time to shoot when using a small shutter speed. Always remember not to touch the tripod while you are waiting for the camera to click the shot. Remember to put the stabiliser of the lens to "off ". That will help to get a clear photo as well.
