Elston Chapel - 1000 years old!

This is Elston Chapel in England. The original chapel is nearly 1000 years old and was built shortly after the Norman invasion of England. The only remaining piece from the original chapel is the doorway. The rest was rebuilt and added later, but still dates from 11th-12th century.

The wooden pews & box seats you see are from around 18th century and would have been for one of the local gentry families to use.
