House on Fire is a stunning Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwelling ruin located within southern Utah's Bears Ears National Monument. The ruin's moniker is derived for the visual flame effect created by direct sunlight hitting the angled sandstone overhang. The hike up the South Fork of Mule Canyon sets the stage for the profound experience exploring House on Fire and the additional ruins further up the canyon. The Cedar Mesa area area houses numerous ruins.
