The photo was taken in my home in Brasov, Romania. I am an amateur photographer and I like to do this out of passion. This photo is different from the others because it was planned for some time. I wanted to take a picture that combines the colors yellow and black, so for this I had to buy a set of colors for each color separately (I didn't find any set with only two shades in the stores :D ).Time
Usually the pictures I take at home, I plan them in the evening. Although I use a Photo Studio Shooting Tent, I like to be in control of the light I use.Lighting
For this photo I used a Foldio Orangemonkie 3. It is one of the best and easy to use Studio Shooting Tents that I have used.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 70D, with an Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro lens. Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 aluminum tripod. Foldio Orangemonkie 3 .Inspiration
To be honest, I was inspired by other similar pictures. So I wanted to see how the version I planned would turn out.Editing
I post process all my photos using Photoshop. For this picture I only needed a few small corrections of brightness, contrast and color.In my camera bag
Lately, especially because I really like going on mountain hikes, I use: - Canon EOS 5D Mark III - Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2 ZE - Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM I am an amateur photographer and I cannot afford to buy the latest equipment. This is the combination I managed to collect by buying second hand. And one last request, please don't tell my wife how much this equipment costs. :DFeedback
This is a very easy picture to reproduce, and as I said at the beginning, for this type of picture you must first make a plan and gather the necessary materials. You can use whatever camera, lens, phone, you have handy. But it would still be a light condition. I used a photo studio tent that significantly improves product photos.
