Wandering around a local pond I encountered this behemouth of an American Snapping Turtle trying to blend into the downed trees and rocks. Someone walking by was trying to tell me this was a bullfrog and at the time it was in the shade. I saw the lovely, long, and weapon like claws and knew that - wrong!
