When I see gas on the surface of the water (and the sun is right), I photograph it. It's bittersweet for me; I hate how beautiful the pollution looks BUT if you watch as the water beneath it moves (as seen here), it's quite breath-taking.
On this day, the area on the surface with the most movement (right of center), almost appears to be in the shape of a human head. I was enamored immediately when I discovered it because it naturally represents my love-hate relationship with how humans treat nature and how said nature must feel under the constraints we humans have forcibly created.
