Day or night, sundown or sunrise, the Tetons are a majestic sight. Color streaked across the sky, snow capped mountains, mature pine trees, and sage flats at the Blacktail Ponds overlook showcase the splendor of Grand Teton National Park.

I feel in love with Grand Teton National Park when my family visited in 1969. We drove the roads, viewed the mountains and wildlife, stayed in a cabin at Jackson Lake Lodge, ate breakfast in the Lodge's mural room (most memorable breakfast ever!), and drove on to Yellowstone. So began a life-long love of this park. I now take advantage of any opportunity to return to this National Park Service gem. This image was captured during my most recent recent, June 2022.
