Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in a rarely used corridor at Arnhem Central Station, The Netherlands.

Time

It was around 11.30 at the end of a couple hours of cycling around Arnhem for some random photography. I hadn’t had breakfast yet, so this was one of the last ones I had taken that day.

Lighting

This was all natural lighting.

Equipment

This was taken with a Fujifilm x-s10 with a Viltrox 13mm f1.4. Nothing else.

Inspiration

I wanted to shoot some pictures for a double exposure test. That’s why I was looking for a dark hallway with a bright ending.

Editing

I converted the colors in lightroom to black and white and blew out as much of the highlights as I could.

In my camera bag

Fujifilm x-s10 and Viltrox 13mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4, 56mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.8

Feedback

My experiment for double exposure failed, but trying to do creative stuff always leads to unexpected successes.
