This photo was taken at home on our farm. I am a self taught photographer that takes any chance to get that picture that tells the story and learn more from each photo I take.Time
This is one of my favourite photo's, this is my cow with her first calf . It was afternoon time when all our cows get hand feed and the calf had just finished having a feed and mum had just finished cleaning her after her feed . So it was a perfect time to study them and take photo's and this was my favorite one .Lighting
It was a nice sunny afternoon no extra light needed, but i did get down a bit lower to get that more in the moment look which wasnt easy with other cows around .Equipment
Only had my handy samsung 8 on hand which captured it perfectly so no specific settings or added lens or lights .Inspiration
Being on a farm there are lots of things to inspire me to take photo's but I took this photo in celebration of my cows first calf something I can keep and look back at .Editing
Not much needed doing but I did inhenced the detail and bought a bit more colour to make the picture more a live .In my camera bag
I always have my Samsung 8 on hand you never know when that photo moment comes up and be ready in a moment's notice.Feedback
Don't think you will get that perfect shot first always take a few shots and try different angles higher , lower shots find what works for you .
