In Iowa it's nothing unusual to see clouds like this every day, but this year has been a record breaker. We normally see about 25 tornadoes on average a year, thus year since January we've got an all time high of 50 or more confirmed touchdowns! The decussation has been life altering, fortunately I have not seen that part first hand. It has been very close on multiple occasions, in fact the latest storm sent it turn to the basement(or where we should've have been rather than watching or taking photos) 5 times in a single night. Hopefully the threat doesn't get any worse, but the season has just begun.
