Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken at town square in Osijek, Croatia. Tram was standing at the station which is exactly at town square.

Time

It was evening time, around maybe 8 or 9PM. I love street photography so I was just walking around taking shots.

Lighting

I liked how the street lights and lights of the tram just bounced off the floor and tracks, so I got close to the ground and took this shot.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon 800D with a Canon 50mm f1.8, shot handheld.

Inspiration

I just love doing street and capturing everyday moments as they happen around me.

Editing

Just some basic Lightroom work with light and color.

In my camera bag

At this moment, I have my fifty nifty and a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8. I also pack GoPro Hero 8 for some POV action and a Rode VideoMic Pro.

Feedback

Night photography can be tricky shooting handheld, especially with no IS. BUT, street photography is not about technical perfection, it's more about capturing a moment, so even if it's not a perfect shot, it's still good if the message is there in the shot.
