Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on our property in Cadet, Mo up by our lake.

Time

I love getting images of Remington in the evening because of the way the sunlight brings out her beautiful red color is amazing!

Lighting

Getting the right angle with the natural light always seems to be what really makes the colors in my images to shine through and have that pop!

Equipment

I used my Canon Rebel T7 with the kit lens. No flash. I prefer to shoot in manual mode and very rarely have used my flash.

Inspiration

The intensity she was showing just had to be captured in time! With the light hitting her perfectly and having the intense look there was no way I could pass up the shot!

Editing

I don't do too much post processing. In this case all I did was crop in closer to her so you could really feel the intensity.

In my camera bag

I always have my kit lens, nifty fifty, and my telephoto lens. Extra charged battery of course!

Feedback

Take an excessive amount of photos! You'll figure out what it takes to get the exact shot you're looking for! It's the best ah ha moment!
