Hundreds of orchids at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden offered up many photo ops. This group was one of many captures I took that day.

Mallard ducks like the ponds at Georgetown Park. I visited recently at sunset.

Called The I-74 Bridge it connects Iowa and Illinois over the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities.

Davenport, IA on the Mississippi. Enhanced by the position of the sun in October.

On a visit to a good friend's city, along Lake Michigan. We've all felt this many times.

In May of 2019 the Mississippi broke a levee in downtown Davenport IA. It left a beautiful devestation.

Neighbor's white German Shepherd chased stray tom cat up a skinny tree in our backyard. I did the noble thing and got my camera.

I really should ask my wife what kind of flower this is. It sits at the foot of our porch is loved by some local hummingbirds.

Behind The Lens

Location

This was at a friend’s home. His wife is an amateur photog like myself. I thought this particular image could be special.

Time

It was a typical scene every evening as my friend relaxed on the couch. As he checked activity on his business phone he would invite all 40 lbs of his pet Bulldog, Winnie to sit on his lap.

Lighting

It was a random capture. Nothing remarkable about the lighting.

Equipment

I used an iPhone 11 and Snapseed to turn it black and white as well as other edits.

Inspiration

The love he has for Winnie!

Editing

Google’ Snapseed has a great variety of tools.
